Can I see a sample?

Yes, we are happy to supply samples if it is difficult to make a choice without seeing the product.

Due to the volume of samples requested however, we need to charge for this service. (In the end it doesn’t need to cost you anything if you order, as we will credit this charge to your invoice once you proceed with the full order.)

ARTWORK

Who designs or provides the layout?

You can either supply the finished art to us or we can help with draft layouts etc, it’s all part of the service.

How is my logo and/or message printed on the product?

To print a promotional product we mainly use screen or pad printing, and occasionally embroidery or other processes, depending on the product you choose.

Most items such as pens and pencils can be pad printed in 1 - 4 spot colours. Set-ups and plates are required. Reprints require reprint set-ups. Other items such as calico bags are screen printed; while flat sheet paper products and Presentation Folders are offset printed.

What type of artwork do I need?

Regardless of the product you choose the best format for artwork is an EPS converted to curves/outlines file (otherwise known as a vector image). We will also need your logo PMS colours (Pantone colours – standard printing colours).

For pens, pencils, rulers, erasers and accessories we can layout any text or logos you want printed and email drafts for your approval. Artwork files you send to us, preferably by email, should be either EPS or Illustrator .ai Vector files, or high resolution (300 dpi) TIFF files. For Carry Bags, Presentation Folders, Flyers, Bookmarks and Envelopes we generally need print ready artwork, eg PDF.

QUANTITY - What quantity do I need to order?

Minimum order quantities differ from product to product, just let us know your requirements. As an example most of our pen and pencil range have a minimum print run quantity of 250. There is no maximum…. As many as you need! If your order is big enough (generally over 10,000 items) and you can allow plenty of lead-time, we can often offer you a much better price and significant savings.

What’s included?

Once you have selected one or more products and advise the quantity and the printing needed, we can supply you with an all-inclusive QUICK QUOTE which will include the item cost, set-up/plate, printing and delivery. GST is extra.

Do I have to pay extra for anything?

Generally not, unless you make late changes to the order or artwork that involve extra cost.

 

LEAD-TIME - How long will it take before delivery?

Generally, provided stock is available, we’ll dispatch your order in around 2-3 weeks. But please let us know if you have a more urgent deadline as we can often help by rescheduling jobs in the priority production queue.

It will take a little longer if the product is not in stock however, and we will advise you of the time involved when you place your order or when we quote.

 

PACKAGING – What type of packaging do you use to send my order?

We use environmentally responsible packaging as much as possible. This includes recycled paper packs and tubes, reused and recycled cardboard boxes, reused newsprint and cardboard padding, shredded paper, biodegradable cellophane bags, and recycled brown kraft wrapping paper. We also reuse packaging materials that are sent to us - so sometimes you may find eg bubble wrap or other materials in our cartons. We hope that you give these materials a longer life by reusing them in turn, and recycling what you can't reuse.

 

DELIVERY – How do you deliver?

We use the most economical way to freight your order to you, including Australia Post, Fastway & other Couriers as appropriate, and we essentially charge you what it costs us.

Can I have a credit account?

On the first two orders you place we will require full prepayment with your order prior to delivery. After that we can set up a 14 or 30 day account subject to satisfactory credit references. Government bodies and large corporates are generally able to secure 30 day terms on their first order.

How do I pay?

You can pay by EFT (direct deposit to our bank account), Visa or Mastercard credit cards, or through the mail by cheque.
